HPL Virtues

Thanks to the heat and high-pressure treatment it undergoes, Arpa HPL is an  exceptionally rugged material resistant to scratching, impact, abrasions, chemicals and heat, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. 

Arpa's HPL conforms to EN 438/1. According to this norm, these are HPL most important quality characteristics:
• Impact resistant
• Scratch and wear-resistant
• Light fastness
• Easy to clean
• Heat-resistant (up to 180°)
• Hygienic
• Suitable for contact with food

Moreover, when subjected to special processing, HPL can be made antibacterial and flame retardant, thus particularly suitable for public places or in all applications where a high level of hygiene is important e.g. kitchens, laboratories, sanitary...
